Bandwagon Appeals: Everyone in the neighborhood decorated their lawns for Halloween, so I should too.
-By decorating the lawn I would be participating in a neighborhood event and also celebrating the holiday at the same time.

Either-or: Either the Chiefs fire their head coach or they will continue to be terrible.
- If they don't fire their head coach, even if they win games, they will never amount to anything in the NFL.

Rationalization: If my internet hadn't stopped working, I would have gotten my homework done on time.
- Because my internet wasn't working I wasn't able to get into my online class and submit my homework by the deadline.
